What you can expect from us
Our small, atmospheric Music Café in Zevenaar is run entirely by volunteers and is located southeast of Arnhem, close to the German border. Live music on Saturday evenings since 1978. Traditionally, we’ve been known for folk music above all, but our programming has encompassed a wide variety of musical styles for many years now!
We alternate Open Mic Nights with concert evenings.
We’re open on Saturday evenings from 8pm until around midnight. Our maximum capacity is roughly 120 people.
Open Mic Night
During an Open Mic Night, three acts perform, with each set lasting up to 45 minutes. Artists are not paid for this evening, but do receive a beautiful photo series from us, which you can request free of charge for your own promotional purposes. An audio recording on a CD is also available for a small fee. We promote your performance on social media and ask you to do the same.

Concert
During a concert evening, one artist performs three sets of 35 to 40 minutes each and is paid for this. Visitors pay to attend. The artists performing at the concerts also receive a beautiful photo series and can have an audio recording made.
Contact
If you want to get in touch with us, the best way to do so is through our contact form. If you’d like to present your band to us, please include relevant links to live footage in your message. The contact form lets you specify whether you’re interested in an Open Mic Night or a (paid) concert evening.
Sound and lighting
Our expert sound engineers are always ready to assist you and our sound and lighting system is perfectly attuned to our space. If you’d like to bring your own equipment and/or sound engineers, please let us know beforehand.
Times on Saturday evening
We have access to the venue from 6.30pm. Once we’ve prepared the stage, the artists can start setting up.
The soundcheck starts after the artist has set up. Doors open for the audience at 8pm and the performance starts at 8.30pm. Each evening consists of three sets lasting 35 to 40 minutes each. In between, there are two intervals of about 15 to 20 minutes each.
