Yellofox quartet
Yellofox plays contemporary Americana with a delightful seventies feel. Folky, groovy and full of good energy. Think “on the road across America with a boot full of ideals and dreams”, and you’ve captured the Yellofox feeling.
Yellofox’s music is influenced by songwriters from the 60s and 70s, as well as artists such as Bonnie Prince Billy, Eels, The Barr Brothers and Fleet Foxes. What stands out are the unconventional instruments like the cello (with a touch of Nick Drake), violin, double bass and guitar that together create the unique Yellofox sound. But above all, it’s the stories, sung with those distinctive harmonies, that draw you in.
