Copperhead County
Copperhead County is one of the few bands in the Netherlands that focuses entirely on southern rock. Inspired by renowned predecessors such as Blackberry Smoke, The Outlaws and (many) others, the six passionate musicians perform their ‘foot-stomping and beer-raising tunes’ all over Europe. It’s gloriously compelling southern rock that takes the listener into the authentic and distinctive atmosphere of the South.
It sounds, feels and looks like southern rock/ Basically, despite their Dutch origins, Copperhead County are pure southern rock. Together, they share an ambition to introduce the Netherlands and the rest of Europe to ‘the real southern feeling’.
Copperhead County previously released the EP ‘Enjoy the ride’ (2019) and debut album ‘Brothers’ (2020). The band then toured large parts of Europe, from Germany to Slovakia and from the Netherlands to Austria. Now they’ve released their second album ‘Homebound’, filled with ten southern rock classics guaranteed to make you dream of the South. For the mix and production, the band collaborated with the internationally renowned Matt Wallace, known for his work with Faith No More, R.E.M., Maroon 5 and Blackberry Smoke, to name but a few.
