Muziekcafé de Lantaern

Muziekcafé de Lantaern is een klein en knus café in Zevenaar.

In Nederland, oostelijk van Arnhem vlak tegen de Duitse grens

Het is alleen op zaterdag geopend en draait volledig op vrijwilligers
We kunnen maximaal 120 mensen binnen laten. Dus contact met het publiek is gegarandeerd.

We krijgen artiesten uit allerlei landen. Groot Britannië, Ierland, Frankrijk, Canada en natuurlijk Nederland. Om maar eens wat te noemen. Een deel Folk muziek, maar we zijn niet streng van leer.

Wat muziekanten moeten weten:

Burocratie
(Niet voor het 'Open podium')
Helaas moeten wij van de Nederlandse belastingdienst ieder artiest vragen een formulier in te vullen. (De zogenaamde gageverklaring, een formulier per groep, door alle leden in te vullen)
De vereiste informatie: Naam, adres, geboortedatum, sofi-nummer en een handtekening. Om de zaak nog erger te maken moeten we ook nog een kopie van een paspoort of ander identiteitsbewijs overleggen.
Belachelijk? Ja, vinden wij ook, maar we kunnen het helaas niet veranderen.

Alternatief: Als u beschikt over een
Toekenning Inhoudingsplichtigenverklaring Artiesten
of over een
Verklaring Arbeidsbeids Relatie (VAR verklaring)
Dan kunt u volstaan met ons daarvan een kopie te geven.

Beide documenten worden op verzoek van de artiest(en) afgegeven door de belastingdienst.

Het gaat er niet om je meer belasting te laten betalen maar om de Lantaern niet onnodig op kosten te jagen.

Tijden
De sound check begint om 19:30 uur.
Het publiek mag vanaf 20:15 uur naar binnen
Het optreden begint om 21:00 uur
Je wordt gevraagd 3 sets van 30 tot 40 minuten te spelen (met dus twee rook/drink pauzes van 15-20 minuten)

Foto's
Van vrijwel elk optreden in de Lantaern worden foto's gemaakt en de mooiste foto's worden op deze website gepubliceerd. Kijk voor de foto's in het hoofdmenu onder "plakboek". Je kunt vervolgens zoeken op datum.

Music café the Lantaern is a small and cosy café situated just outside the village Zevenaar in the Netherlands.

East of the city of Arnhem near the German border.

It opens only on Saturdays evening and is solely run by volunteers.There’s room for just 120 people. So close contact with the audience is guaranteed!

We have artist performing from all sorts of places. They come form the UK, Ireland, France, Canada and of the Lowlands of course. Just to name a few places. Tradion suggest quite a part is folk music. But we’re not strict about it.

Gig info, what performers need to know

Sound
We have excellent sound equipment that matches the location very well. We also have capable technical staff to do the sound and the light.

Red tape
(Not for 'Open podium')
Unfortunately Dutch tax law requires each performer to fill in a form. (One form per group, but each member is to required to fill it in)
We will supply this form and help you fill it in. All that is required is your name, address, date of birth, your social security number and your signature.
Please note that we also need a photocopy of your passport.
Silly? We think so too, but what can we do?
This is NOT about making you pay more taxes but about helping us not to pay too much!

Timing
The sound check starts at 19:30
Public is allowed in at 20:15
The show starts at 21:00
You are requested to play three sets of approximately 30 to 40 minutes (two 15-20 minutes smoke/drink breaks.)
